A História do blog
Quando eu tinha 13 anos eu tive a vontade de criar um blog para escrever sobre livros. Uma aula de redação na escola resultou na minha primeira resenha, e também na minha descoberta por esse gênero textual pelo qual eu me apaixonei. Foi assim que nasceu o Prateleira de Ideias, meu espaço na internet para falar daquilo que mais amo, a literatura.
A resenha em questão é de um livro de Agatha Christie e você pode ler aqui. Isso tudo começou em 2011 e de lá pra cá muita coisa aconteceu. O blog cresceu, eu fui convidada para algumas entrevistas e apareci em jornais falando sobre livros (você pode conferir aqui). Eu comecei e terminei o ensino médio. Depois comecei e terminei a faculdade e me formei como Bacharela em Letras.
E por fim decidi que após oito anos estava na hora de me despedir de algumas coisas. E foi por isso que decidi deixar para trás o nome Prateleira de Ideias. Sem, é claro, deixar para trás todo o conteúdo que já produzi por aqui (no momento em que estou escrevendo isso o blog possuí cerca de 250 resenhas). Para escolher o novo nome comecei por decidir que queria que fosse em inglês e então comecei a pensar. Foi então que depois de horas de brainstorm finalmente surgiu uma ideia: a history of crows.
O nome a history of crows (uma história de corvos para aqueles que gostariam da tradução) tem inspiração em duas coisas. A primeira são os corvos, já que algumas das minhas sagas favoritas giram em torno desse animal e tem nomes que envolvem corvos senti que ter algo relacionado aos meus livros favoritos era importante para mim e que faria com que o meu novo nome de blog fosse ainda mais especial. E a segunda coisa são as histórias, que permeiam a minha vida há tanto tempo e fazem com que ela seja mais completa e recheada de sentido.
Isso é apenas o início de uma nova era, e espero que ainda existam muitos anos frutíferos de postagens, memórias e histórias no meu novo e querido a history of crows.

The blog’s history
When I was 13 I had the urge to create a blog to write about books. In a creative writing class at school, which resulted in my first ever review and also in my discovery of this genre which I feel in love with. That was how Prateleira de Ideias was born, my own space in the internet to talk about that which I love the most, literature.
The review was about an Agatha Christie book and you can read it here (in portuguese). This was back in 2011 and from then to here many things happened. The blow grew, I was invited for a couple interviews and appeared on newspapers talking about books (you can check this all here). I began and finished high school. Then I began and finished college and graduated as a Bachelor in Literary Studies.
After eight years I decided it was time to say goodbye to some things. That’s why I decided to let go of the Prateleira de Ideias name. Without, of course, erasing all the content I’ve produced here (at the time I’m writing this the blog has about 250 reviews). To pick another name I decided that I wanted it to be in english and I began thinking. After hours of brainstorm finally came an idea: a history of crows.
The name a history of crows was inspired by two things. The first are crows, because some of my favorite sagas revolve around this animal and have names that include the word crow (or raven but still) and I felt that having something related to my favorite books was important to me and it would make the new name of my blog even more special. And the second are stories, that are part of my past, present and future, therefore are part of my history.
This is just the beggining of a new era, and I hope there are still many years of posts, memories and stories in my new and dear a history of crows.
